Bonding Abroad

Hello There!

Welcome to our page/blog. We’re Alexis and Asia and we can’t wait to share our adventures with you. We met in 2015 while studying at the University of Michigan. We got engaged under the Eiffel Tower in 2017, had a small destination wedding in Mexico and it,  accompanied by our Honeymoon spurned our love for travel as a couple! We’re out here balling on a budget, which means sometimes we splurge and sometimes we have to be cheap..

With our blog, you’ll find all the tips and tricks we’ve picked up while traveling to make things affordable and accessible to everyone. DIY planning is our specialty, because Alexis loves to tailor each of our trips to what we enjoy. We’ve made some mistakes and learned how to plan over the years and we plan to share the good, the bad, and the ugly with you as you follow our journeys. Hopefully we will show that travel isn’t meant to be perfect, but if you make it your own you’ll never regret it. We’ll be posting every Monday and Friday subscribe to make sure you get all the notifications and check back for all the blog posts!

You can read about us, our travels, and our messy lives here, or you can take a gander at our social media!

Chowder, donuts, breakfast sandwiches; these are just some of the best eats in Seattle and Portland. If you know anything about us, you know we LOVE to eat. Naturally, we ate and drank our way through the PNW and we’re

If you are doing a trip to Seattle, Portland or both, you have to make a visit to the cascade mountains. Even if you can’t stay overnight, the cascades are worth the day trip. Both Mount St Helen’s and Mount
